610 West 110th Street is a newly converted building developed by Cayuga Holdings, LLC. Kinlin Rutherford Architects designed the apartments and lovingly renovated the building with respect to the historical details, many of which have been preserved.
The residences of this development feature many charming prewar features, such as original crown moldings, 9-inch baseboards, high ceilings, multiple exposures with park views and windowed kitchens and baths. Entry foyers with herringbone floors hark back to a bygone era. After the foyer, the herringbone flooring switches to elegant white oak. The kitchens have high-end finishes, including white lacquer cabinetry, Pietra Cardoza marble countertops, Mosaic Carrara white tile backsplash and Strande restoration hardware. They are also fully outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances including Sub-Zero refrigerators and Bosch cooktops, convection ovens, dishwashers and microwaves. The washer and dryer units are also located in the kitchen. Baths are excellently appointed with Calacatta gold marble floors and walls, Lago Azul Stilo accent tiles, Kohler pedestal sinks and toilets, and a glass-enclosed shower/tub combination. All residences offer plenty of closet space.
The building may not offer a long list of services and amenities, but it does have a charming, historic lobby, which is overseen by the 24-hour doorman. However, this building would not be a perfect fit for someone seeking full-service living.
Situated just steps from Riverside Drive and Riverside Park, 610 West 110th enjoys a central Upper West Side location. The Upper West Side is well known for its historic buildings, wide boulevards and quiet, tree-lined streets. It is also widely recognized for its many shopping and dining options. This building is near Columbia University, Broadway and a plethora of public transportation. The 1, B and C trains and the M4, M5, M104 and M11 bus lines are in close proximity.
