Named in honor of architect Ralph Thomas Walker's Art-Deco masterpieces, the site's lower eight levels house a Verizon switching station and its entry on 17th Street. Residents access their small, two-story wing on 18th Street. The conversion designed by Cetra-Ruddy added four floors to the building along with four lean spires crowning the west end of the property.
