Ethan Coen Hits Market with $2.34M Co-op
Ethan Coen , the extremely talented film director, screenwriter, editor, cinematographer and producer, of the Coen Brothers has listed his Greenwich Village co-op at 30 East 10th Street for $2.34 million. The one-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment has 1,800 square feet and was purchased by Ethan and his beautiful wife, Tricia Cooke, in 2004 for $1.495 million. The second-floor apartment has a very large living room with a nice open kitchen. Right next to the kitchen are stairs to the loft mezzanine. With its 1,800 square feet it’s very large for a 1-bedroom apartment.
The building has practically no amenities besides a keyed elevator, a common storage room and a shared roofdeck. It was built in 1909 and has 21 apartments on 12 floors.
The Coen Brothers just recently finished filming a movie in Greenwich Village. The movie is in its final editing stage and deals with New York's folk music scene during the 1960's. Can't wait to see this one!
