Food Network's famous chef and restaurateur, who in 2006 opened the ill-fated (it closed within a year), up-scale, casually elegant, Greek restaurant “Parea” (group of friends in Greek), together with his lovely wife Elizabeth have purchased a pad in the Gramercy neighborhood. They already own a condo in SoHo, which they have put on the market with an ask of $3.5 million.

The Gramercy apartment takes up the entire 6th floor, that's 1,777 sq. ft. of space and an oh so, private car park. It is located at 316 East 22nd Street and was bought at an ask of $2.75 million. The building is a quite plain, brown brick, structure with huge warehouse type windows.

The home itself has 5 rooms including 2 bedrooms each with a large walk-in closet at opposite ends of the apartment, both boasting its own terrace. The master bedroom includes a large bath with a tub and separate shower. The other bath for the second bedroom is found just a few steps down the hall. The kitchen/ dinning room and living room in the central part of the pad. State of the art appliances in the kitchen as well as a Butler's pantry and the wine fridge will make any Iron Chef proud. There's even a gas fireplace for those cozy evenings at home.
