Kelsey Grammer Sells West Chelsea Luxury Pad

Actor Kelsey Grammer has sold his West Side luxury apartment. His condo is located at 100 Eleventh Avenue, a modern glass tower designed by Jean Nouvel. Grammer bought this luxury Manhattan home for $6.4 million in 2010, after dropping a deal at 15 Central Park West due to rental issues. Although the building has been known for a few issues involving construction quality, arguments between the architect and developer, and wind problems, Grammer seemed happy with the apartment, and his only reason for moving is that he needs an apartment with more space for his “growing family”. The condo originally asked for $9.75 million, but entered into a contract at around $8.95 million. According to Emily Beare, Grammer’s broker, the price is estimated to drop even further and close “just below $8 million”.

The apartment comes with many perks, including a sizable chef’s kitchen and an endless amount of appliances. Other amenities including waterfront views of the Hudson River, master bedroom equipped with a spacious walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, and gas-burning fireplace, to name a few.
