Oscar-Winner Mira Sorvino Sells NYC Penthouse for $1.72M

Some Hollywood stars wait decades for the opportunity to win an Academy Award, while a few lucky ones like Mira Sorvino get theirs early on. The same principle applies to condo sales in Manhattan. Some wait months if not up to a year to sell their homes, while a few lucky ones like Mira sell their condos in less than 45 days. Mira obviously wants it all and found a buyer who paid a bit over the asking price for her Upper West Side apartment, located at 200 West 79th Street.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,450-square-foot penthouse has incredible 17-foot ceilings and a convenient 120 square foot terrace.

Mira won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Mighty Aphrodite (1995). She’s also known for her role in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
