And he’s done it again! Mexican billionaire and owner of the world’s most selling Tequila, José Cuervo, has just grabbed a $24.9 million apartment at 1010 Park Avenue, according to The Real Deal. Mr. Beckmann was able to close the deal right before the new Mansion and transfer taxes kicked in on July 1st, saving him over $680K worth of taxes.

1010 Park Avenue is Extell’s latest new construction on the UES crossing Park and 85th street. The boutique building has only 11 apartments and offers amenities like a 50 foot pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a screening room and a children’s playroom. Current marketed apartments range from $12.95 million up to $45 million for a 6,745 square foot large 4 bedroom penthouse.

This is not Juan Beckmann’s first NYC apartment purchase. Back in 2008, he purchased a $22.54 million duplex penthouse at the Plaza Residences (which he sold $29 million this year). Mr. Beckmann also forked out a whooping $44.6 million for a stunning apartment at 432 Park Avenue.
