Rosie O’Donnell Lists Her New Manhattan Home

It’s been less than a year since Rosie O’Donnell purchased her Village duplex penthouse and already she’s trying to sell it for $11 million. Rosie purchased the penthouse, located at 130 West 12th street, in September of last year for $8 million, which was even then slightly over ask. The reason for the apartment flip now, most likely, is that Rosie and her wife, Michele Rounds, just recently adopted a baby girl, which makes this Rosie’s fifth child. Obviously, a four-bedroom pad is just not enough anymore.

The 3,202-square-foot, four-bedroom and 3.5-bathroom apartment has a spacious private terrace and got a facelift after Rosie purchased it. Its features include a large gourmet kitchen, new windows, and a sizable walk-in closet. The apartment offers north and south views, including the Empire State Building.

If Rosie manages to sell her penthouse for $11 million, it would make her a $3 million profit, or 35 percent. Not bad for a 10-month investment.

The 130 West 12th Street building was constructed in 1941, converted to luxury condominiums in 2011, and is LEED certified. It offers amenities like a fitness room, private storage, and a rooftop deck.
