Sandy Hits Michelle Williams’ and Jason Segal’s Apartment
Actress Michelle Williams and “How I Met your Mother” actor Jason Segel have been hit by Sandy. The couple purchased a loft at 275 Conover Street just earlier this year for $3.6 million.
The building, located in upcoming neighborhood Red Hook, has been flooded tremendously and the Fairway supermarket on the first floor suffered much damage as well. Photos show FEMA workers throwing a whole inventory of Fairway products into a dumpster.
Besides power outages, the area around the building also suffered uprooted trees, abandoned floating cars, giant wooden beams all over the place and scattered sand bags.
Michelle owns another home in Boerum Hill, a neighborhood in Brooklyn. She used to live there with Heath Ledger, the father of her daughter. It is likely that the couple moved back to the Boerum Hill home while repairs are being done.
