The uber-succesful Hollywood production couple has sold their Midtown West apartment inside 120 Central Park South. The couple, known for Schindler’s list, The Sixth Sense, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and E.T., listed the apartment in September with an asking price of $3.595 million. The buyer obviously had good taste as the quite, nice apartment was sold a little over the asking price, for $3.62 million.

Related Companies, the lucky developer of this gigantic 26-acre site, is responsible for the site’s 13.3 million square feet of upcoming office, residential, and retail space.

The founder and charmain of Sahara India Pariwar is now the proud owner of 75 percent of the hotel's stakes. The Plaza is one of the most well-known hotels in the world and has a glamorous list of past clients including Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, The Beatles, Mark Twain, Eleanor Roosevelt, and even President Barack Obama just earlier this year.

Let the battles begin! The first lawsuits against the luxury residential tower One57 have been filed. Two dentists have sued Lend Lease, the contracting firm overseeing One57's site, and Pinnacle Industries, the crane’s owner.
The crane at the luxury condominium project, One57 remains dangling from its 90th floor, but appears to be safe. The building, known as a magnet for billionaires around the world, has now caused broad evacuations and massive panic.
Hurricane Sandy, the most devastating storm in history to hit Manhattan, and the largest Atlantic hurricane in diameter on record caused flooding, destruction, burned homes and deaths in New York. We received incredible pictures, taken a few hours after the storm hit New York. The pictures show floating cars, flooded construction sites, the dangling One57 crane, chaotic scenes around Con Edison, flooded tunnels, crushed cars hit by trees and flooded buildings.
The damage from Hurricane Sandy is nothing that Manhattan has ever seen before. Many parts of lower Manhattan are severely flooded and without electricity or hot water. The MTA is at a complete halt and service might not be back for as long as a week. The absolute worst-case scenario has happened and even surpassed predictions.
Cars have been seen swimming in the flood. Police have evacuated lower Manhattan, and closed it down to in and out going traffic. The Battery Tunnel is flooded with water, and no timetable has been provided for when it will be open again.
The crane attached to the top of One57 has just collapsed due to increasing winds from hurricane Sandy. We reported an hour ago that construction sites might be in danger. Major winds from Sandy haven’t even hit NYC yet and more destruction can be expected. The broken crane is hanging down the side of building, while people watch the scenario in disbelief. We'll keep monitoring the area and report once updates come in.

The New York property investor Michael Hirtenstein was in contract to buy a unit for $16 million, and he was treated like any other buyer, which means, that he wasn’t allowed to see the unit before completion.

The luxury condo/hotel at 400 Fifth Avenue has a new owner. Langham Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Great Eagle Group, has purchased the hotel portion, consisting of 214 rooms, for $229 million.
Invesco Ltd., a Texas-based investment firm, recently purchased the top 10 floors of the new luxury building, The Mercedes House, located in Midtown West with the hopes of turning into luxury rentals. The original owner, Two Trees Management Co. LLC, intended to market the top 10 floors with 162 apartments, as condos. However, recent Crain's reports indicate that the new owner aims to market these apartments as rentals.
P.Diddy or simply “Diddy”, as he now likes to be called has listed his 66th floor Midtown West apartment at The Park Imperial for $8.5 million. Photos of the apartment were held privately until yesterday. That's when Prudential Douglas Elliman finally posted multiple pictures showing every room of this unique apartment. First thing that grabs attention is a large portrait of fallen comrade Notorious B.I.G hanging in the living room.
Fashion moguls and business partners Lawrence Stroll and Silas Chou have each signed a contract to buy a full-floor $50 million apartment inside One57, according to The Post. Both apartments are allegedly above the 80th floor and each paid 25 percent up front.
