Kelly Ripa lists NYC Penthouse for $24.5M

Actress and talk show host Kelly Ripa, who has been nominated for 8 Daytime Emmy Awards and is the recipient of 5 Soap Opera Digest Awards, along with hubby Mark Consuelos Ripa have listed their duplex penthouse at 76 Crosby Street in Soho for $24.5 million. The married couple purchased the apartment back in 2005 for $9.5 million and spent two years renovating their new home. It’s not the first time that the couple has tried to sell their beautiful apartment. They quietly put it on the market once in 2010. It was listed without any photos or buzz but didn’t work out that way. Looks like the time has come for the big thing with plenty of photos and advertising.

Reading the brokerbabble, one would think that it’s the usual exaggerating selling text but in this case we mostly agree. The apartment has an amazing outdoor space with a kitchen, whirlpool and fireplace. It’s full of plants and makes the impression it’s a real garden on the ground level. Being there it’s hard to believe that the super busy Sping Street/Broadway intersection is just a block away. You just have to see it to believe it!

Many celebrities have lived in the 9-story building such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Kidman and Harvey Weinstein. The building itself doesn’t offer any astonishing amenities besides a keyed elevator and a full time doorman. The penthouse is currently the only available apartment in the building. The last apartment was sold in 2010 for $4.35 million, for 2578 square feet.
