A penthouse that once belonged to Lady Gaga and a host of other major celebs was recently listed on the market for a mere $33,000 a month. The sprawling 2,000 square foot duplex offers residents the ultimate in both luxury and privacy. There are no neighbors on either side of the penthouse, and there are also four private terraces out of view of the public eye. This may explain why celebrities such as Liza Minnelli and Lance Armstrong have also called this 40 Central Park South apartment home. 40 Central Park South was constructed in 1941 and while it may be well over 50 years old, its amenities are the epitome of modern luxury. The building features two attended lobbies, a residents' fitness center, and more. This particular penthouse was first listed for $22,000 a month. However, following the release of Lady Gaga's Netflix documentary, the price went up. This could be because the documentary features the duplex and many of the changes the star made to it, which can still be found in the home today.
