The beautiful actress, Tea Leoni, has finally bought her own pad on the Upper West Side at 190 Riverside Drive for $5.1 million. But, to tell the whole story, let’s get back a little in time. Reportedly, Leoni is the separated wife of David Duchovny. They might appear here and there together; nevertheless, it seems like it’s over with the dream couple. Anyways, Leoni and David had (and still have) a luxury triplex co-op at 170 East 78Th Street. The apartment has been on the market over four months with Stribling as the broker, and still there’s no buyer in sight, at least none we know of.

David was quick to buy his own apartment—he got his back in September 2012 inside the Ardsley at 320 Central Park West. And now it’s Leoni’s turn to buy hers. Her apartment is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom pad on the eighth floor with beautiful views of the Hudson River from nearly every room. This “one-of-a-kind” home (quoting Corcoran’s broker babble) has high 11-foot ceilings, original oak floors, detailed moldings, stained-glass doors, and neat wood-burning fireplaces. Considering the fact that the Hudson River is the site of gorgeous sunsets, we can only imagine how much joy Leoni will have looking out over the calm river in the evenings.

Let’s take a look at the building. 190 Riverside Drive is an elegant, pre-war building, crossing 91st Street. It’s right in front of a deep part of Riverside Park. The full-service building doesn’t show off with an overload of amenities but it does have a garage, a laundry room, and a common storage area.

David Duchovny’s apartment is on Central Park West where it crosses 91st Street, which makes it a 10-minute walk for them to meet each other. Having two children together, it obviously makes perfect sense to live practically on the same street. Another celebrity, Bruce Willis, just bought an apartment next door at Central Park West and 90th Street.
