Judge Judy Lists Her $9M Co-op

Judith Sheindlin, who is by profession a lawyer, judge, television personality and arbitrator, better known as Judge Judy from her very successful reality show “Judge Judy”, has listed her luxury pied-a-terre at the Sherry Netherland for $9 million. Mrs. Sheindlin purchased the apartment with her husband back in 2010 for $6.75 million. She used it only occasionally as she’s got another home in Connecticut and a luxury home in Florida for the cold winter months. Lucky lady!

With a yearly income of $45 million we can be more than sure that this listing is not to bulk up her bank account. We assume that Mrs. Sheindlin is about to get another apartment in New York City, probably a bigger one. More luxurious is hardly possible, as the Sherry Netherland at 781 5th Avenue is considered to be one of the most exclusive addresses in the city. Currently, it has a $95 million apartment up for sale.

The eleventh-floor apartment has 5 rooms, 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The maintenance is $17,411 a month for this 3,150-square-foot apartment. Deborah Grubman and David B. Dubin of the Corcoran Group listed the co-op.
