A parking garage in lower Manhattan locked its doors without warning just before Hurricane Sandy hit, preventing customers from retrieving their cars and fleeing. A class action lawsuit for unspecified damages is now underway against the garage.

Interior decorator and former host of “The Nate Berkus Show” and a regular on “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, has left New York City to be with his partner Jeremiah Brent in Los Angeles. Two years ago Nate purchased a 3,000-square-foot, 3-bedroom, Village co-op at 19 West 9th street for $3.35 million. In 2006 he also bought a one-bedroom pad for $550,000. Since his interior company is Chicago-based, he also owns a 4,000-square-foot condominium in Chicago which has been on the market since early 2011.

The Azure penthouse is back on the market for $13 million. The 34-story building located on the Upper East Side at 333 East 91st Street has had quite a rough time after its crane accident killing two people. Almost five years have passed since the incident, and Azure has started making its comeback with 65 percent of its units already sold.

It looks like electronic dance music star Moby has found an additional source of money after receiving multiple platinum awards and selling over 20 million albums worldwide. Moby has sold his Noho penthouse at 7 Bond Street for $5.8 million—$700,000 less than the original asking price of $6.5 million—after purchasing it a few years back for $3.75 million. Moby’s penthouse is located on the sixth floor of a building built in 1904 and converted into condominiums in 1986.

The founder and charmain of Sahara India Pariwar is now the proud owner of 75 percent of the hotel's stakes.
